Does anyone have a spare not-being-rubbish? I broke mine.

Here's hoping that all of my other exams go better than this one, otherwise I'll just end up eating my own arm or something. :)

It's a good thing that I don't want to do German at University! Oh wait!

Christmas: Good food, good times.
New Year's: Not so much.
Work: Almost over! Wah.
Revising: Makes me headhurty.
Fiddling with Ubuntu: Makes everything better.
Billy sending me songs: Helps too.

Leider...

After us all stressing over our german speaking exams, we finally got them over with today! But the tape died, so we had to do it twice, which was -not- amusing D:

Ah well, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland tomorrow C: Wurstwurstwurst <3

I've been humming that since I got home from visiting [info]kandrel and [info]hissylizard, methinks due to playing it with Jon on Guitar Hero World Tour round his house, which he seemed to love! Here's hoping that he gets it soon, so that we can play online together, and he can emasculate me with his shredding skills. He made tasty homemade lasagne on Saturday, with -courgettes-! He spoils me. We watched Casualty and guessed how people would get injured! Morbid humour is the best kind. And he introduced me to Survivor, which is just awesome, and I must investigate more about it! To Wikipedia!

***

Well, that proved pointless D: Moving on! Worth a mention is the Simlish-speaking guy walking in front of us on the way to shopping, who made me smile =D I miss clothes-shopping, I wish that I could do it more often! Although now I sound rather... rainbows and latex, so I'll keep schtum! It's official, Basingstoke has the best shopping-centre EVAR, and I want its babies. The number of cheap-shops it has is incredible!

It's nice to take some time away from being hectic and busy, and just enjoying myself occasionally. They know how much I appreciate getting to see them!

The Guitar Hero World Tour bundle my sister and I bought together still hasn't arrived, and I'm getting stick for it D: According to guys at work (Gamestation) they've not received any either, and the warehouses are just totally in meltdown for some reason or another. I'm fine with waiting, but she's rather annoyed...

Also, apparently I'm a staff member at RBW: www.rbw.org.uk/attendees.php

This amuses me greatly.

Despite being tired beyond all recognisable belief, I'm on the computer. I'm still on a high after visiting[info]hissylizard and [info]kandrel for the weekend, so I won't be resting properly for awhile! =D

To summarise: Tasty homemade food, good company, That Mitchell and Webb Look and lots and lots of PS3-related goodness. Jon makes the best Shepherd's Pie I've had in a long time, and as for cooked breakfasts? Don't try and make a better one. No scrambled eggs are better! His food is the perfect accompaniment to silly modern British comedy :)

After having recommended LittleBigPlanet to people at work at Gamestation, I finally got to play it around their house, and now Christmas can't come soon enough! Happyslapping has never been so fun, and the game on the whole just seems polished in every aspect. And I didn't suck at Guitar Hero for once! Well, I sucked -less- than usual, which is reassuring considering I've got World Tour ordered!

Speaking of which, work on Saturday was... mixed. I sold a lot of copies of LBP, and generally had a good time and made myself useful, buuut... I fail at selling PS3 systems! Those things just won't budge from the shelves, which made me feel rather inadequate when everyone else was selling Wiis and 360s left right and centre!

I seem to be working backwards! Spooky o..o Despite abhorring Bond films, I found Quantum of Solace quite satisfying! People who went expecting a Bond Film are being disappointed, but going for a good film will not disappoint. Besides, as I used my Prefect of the Month voucher, it was free! You can't complain about that :)

Yes. Good weekend =D

To cap off my general out-of-it-all-ness of late (losing my voice, terrible cough, far too much work, amongst other things), today I had a nosebleed which lasted an hour and a half. It just wouldn't stop! I couldn't get to school on time, I could hardly leave the house like that x..x

On Dad's suggestion, I was about to take myself to A&E, but luckily it stopped just as I was about to leave my school stuff at home and wobble to Hillingdon Hospital. That didn't stop me from being incredibly drowsy and wibbly all day though, and methinks I may have swallowed just a little too much blood by accident, I feel... off.

Here's hoping I don't need stitches or anything, hospitals and myself don't go together very well at all!

If it's not broke, don't fix it. NEVER shave and then exfoliate! Getting stinging cream into little cuts is evil o..o

Also, I had multicultural toast today, things had to be used up. So I had marmite and philly! Not together though, that would be horrible D:

Today was... interesting!

I had three people comment on my ugliness, the most memorable being: "eey, you're uglier than my mum!"

I love Year 8s, they never get insults quite right! And then I came across not one, but two guys who were eyeing me up on the way home! I was quite scared, to be honest D: You'd not expect even one in West Drayton! So now I have two guys' mobile numbers, and although I feel terrible saying this, but...

I didn't scrumple up the numbers straight away o..o

Normally when this kind of thing happens I shrug it off, but I don't know, I might actually talk to these people! They were... kinda nice looking c..c

Gah, listen to me, I'm such a ho =3

We splashed out on some Tesco's Finest bakery cookies, nyum <3

Also, I got bored with a Metro in my free period whilst we were playing Shed with some cards, so we had fun moving around peoples' heads :)

On the buses

Why don't they ever show that program anymore? c..c

But yuss, it was my free afternoon today, so I popped into Uxbridge to hand in some CVs and Application forms for the Christmas Temp jobs, and I was pleasantly surprised by how... calm the buses are! When you get used to being crammed next to screaming, stinking schoolkids from Uxbridge High and Stockley Academy every day, it's nice to have a chat with an old lady about how she used to go to my school =D

It's nice wandering around and being appreciated by people when you hold the door open for them, or help mums with massive prams with lifting them up steps. And I had to suppress a mini-lol when the female member of staff collecting Application Forms in Gamestation exclaimed loudly: "Oh, please come to work here, you look normal!", whilst being surrounded by her tubby, awkward coworkers, fingers crossed that they accept my (frankly horrendous) application!

I got yelled at by mum again, apparently something to do with my work-at-home job (which I took to be available around the house more often), but she was changing her point so frequently that I didn't know what the problem was, which was not fun o..o

Two posts in three days? My, I'm being an attention-whore lately! =D

"When things like this happen, you'll hide and sing songs like Snake Eater to yourself."

I'm not sure what's making me feel worse: that I'm that sad and predictable, or that I doubt that I'll find anyone who'll ever know me as well as Billy does. =3 No matter how I'm presenting myself, he can glean my true feelings and name a song that I know which I'll totally... get, if that makes sense! It probably doesn't, but ah well =D

I miss being able to sing to him, despite the geekiness of the songs which we'd sing together. But maybe it's a good thing then, that I've grown up a bit!

Also, I'm going to go along with this Picture Meme, something which I'd not normally do, but I felt like it!
• Take a picture of yourself right now.
• Don't change your clothes. Don't fix your hair.
• Post that picture with no editing.
• Post these instructions with your picture.

Aren't I just the darndest? My phone camera is made of fail and fuzziness =D

I'm back from my holiday in Selsey (the South Coast for the less geographically-inclined), and currently the only thing I can think of is the fact that I have my bed back again. The past week my family and I have been staying in a rented caravan on a tacky holiday park; our usual holiday setup. The only way we could afford to go anywhere this year is because one of Dad's mates rented us his caravan, and well, you get what you pay for! =D
The caravan was shoddy even by my standards, with my bed being as thin as myself, and not nearly long enough for me to lie on, but hey, we managed! I participated in such delightful activities as:
- Swimming! For the first time in years, I flailed around and looked kinda silly by choice! I had so much fun that I refused to go back in again for a second time, instead I spent my time...
- Reading tedious Feminist texts! I really need to make more headway with this. *nods*
- Food! There's a tasty American-diner-style restaurant near to the caravan park, and we went there for lunch one day, and the food there was nyum <3 I surprised myself by not having the biggest thing on the menu! Instead I had a yummy pie, while my parents had the special Riviera Burger, which is actually two massive burgers, one with bacon and one with egg. Needless to say, I was jealous when I saw their meals! We also had one yummy 'Streaky Pork' (ie. 95% fat, 5% meat) from Tesco, which was fun. =D
- 'Entertainment'! The clubroom had things like Wrestling (after sitting through a halfhour of 'Dropkick Divas' singing terribly while posing for the drooling Dads in the crowd, we left), a Panto (Cinderella: It all went wrong, with the Teamstars forgetting their lines, priceless =3) and of course...
- Bingo! We wasted so much money playing Prize Bingo, the prizes were always rubbish, but it's so addictive we couldn't stop! We had no luck until on Thursday, I won this:
 this
I have never been so happy to get a toy in my life c..c I've wanted one of these things ever since I was widdle and the film came out! One of my mates wants to re-enact the Rocket Scene with me, it's going to be jokes =D
- Scary costumes! No, I'm not talking about the new digs I bought for our holiday, I'm talking about the various mascots Bunn Leisure uses! They mostly use Bunny fursuits, which made me lol as it was, but their mother bunny 'Bella', sang an outright naughty song which would have made many people I know very happy in the pants region D: But what frightened me most was J.J. the fox, who wore a pirate outfit and marigolds. I am not kidding, I took a photo to show people what will haunt my nightmares forever more!

- and of course Dancing Stage! I was quite good, spending only £11 on it, but I may have done myself an injury by playing Nonstop once too often. Ah well, thighache is a small price to pay for Rhythm-based yayness!
So yes, 'twas fun, but I'm rather exhausted now, I kind wish that I could be at the LFM meet today though, I know someone who'll be wanting to see me! In other news, my burns are going away, which is nice to know. =3 Also, OMGLONGESTJOURNALEVAR, but that's not saying much!

I used my £5 book voucher to go towards "The Second Sex" by Simone de Beauvoir, a hyper-important Feminist text which should, through my reading of it, help me get into Cambridge. I was expecting Girl-on-Girl action to be instantly depicted from page One, and for it to be rather boring, but it's actually not too bad! I've not even fallen asleep reading it yet!

In other news, yay for having squeaky-clean toothypegs! I heart the dentist <3

*waits for his MicroSD to come through the Post so that he can play his M3ds again*

Yay for actually doing something with today! I got told by [info]jacel last night that he'd be in town, and so that (coupled with my little brother talking in his sleep) meant that I couldn't sleep a wink! I went over to [info]taldragon's place, and didn't really help much with the electrical stuff, but it's nice seeing people again. I also met [info]jencen for the first time, which was nice!
The four of us went off to Focus to get some stuffage, but Tal seemed more than a little embarassed with the guys when they played up, and we had trouble reigning the party around to the checkout, we're so easily distracted c..c Then we popped off to a Harvester and had a really nice meal, and once again I am indebted to Tal for being so awesome! People may have played up a little, definitely including myself, but it was great, I just feel bad for being poor and not bring money o..o
So yuss, I hafta once again say thankye to people for the great day, despite the 'day' only being around 5 hours =3

It's been decided. The hair's going tomorrow! I was supposed to get it done today, but when I didn't because I was feeling too ill, mum yelled at me and is forcing me to get it done tomorrow.
Now, some people might not know me very well, but this is kind of a big deal, I love my hair like a little brother, but over the last few months it's been getting rather annoying. I'll show everyone here as soon as I can, you'd better tell me it doesn't look terrible >=3

Face, Mugshot
So much for this blog getting used properly! But I need the help of people. I need do hack away at this mane of mine, and the current terrible weather's only emphasised this. Having wet, dripping hair flopping against my face is not ideal! But I'll not be going back to looking near-bald, I need a style! Any ideas, guys?
